Walton Releases Official kitkat for H3 and R3

So Walton is totally going crazy(in a good way)! Since they have higher sales dominance all over Bangladesh being a huge competition for Symphony. Walton was the first OEM of Bangladesh to release kitkat for their devices. Recently the official kitkat of H3 and R3 has been released. But you'll need to install it manually, as there is no OTA (over the air) Update.

Well is it worth updating?? Well it is actually, since you have alot of new features, better performance and better UI. And Plus you get more User Usable ram for using as the OS doesn't take up much of it.

Apple iPhone 6 clone released

Apple iPhones are always among the most popular smartphones in the market and that’s beyond any shadow of doubt. In the past there have been multiple iPhone clones and the tradition is going to continue with the iPhone 6 as well.

While the next generation iPhone is about two months away, we already have the functional clones of the iPhone 6. The design of the smartphone is based on the already available mock-ups and the device also runs on an OS that has been skinned to look very similar to iOS.

There’s no word on what hardware the device features, but as seen in the previous clones, the iPhone 6 replica is bound to be pack an underpowered processor. However, we don’t expect to see this device anywhere outside the Chinese land.
Meanwhile, the original iPhone 6 model is said to sport a new A8 chipset with a clock speed of 2GHz. Apple is expected to officially announce its next-generation iPhone in September.

LG G3 now available from Sprint for $199.99

Yes, you read it right! 200 bucks! Sprint actually started to sell the G3 before the actual sales date of the stores. well The LG G3 will cost you $199.99 with a new two year contract. Sprint is also offering a $150 gift card for everyone who purchases the LG G3 with Sprint Easy Pay and agree to a monthly payment of $25 for a span of 24 months. Walton Releases Kitkat Beta for Primo V1 and H3

So what is Kitkat beta? Kitkat beta is the Developers version of Kitkat. This is usually used for tests and benchmark but is not the same thing as Official Kitkat.

V1 is a mid range budget phone with a Octa core 1.7Ghz and Mali 450 GPU. Well this phone released on 8th may 2014, and got this Beta kitkat update just 2 weeks later. The Official is still yet to come, so brace yourselves.

Walton Primo V1

H3 another mid-range budget phone which just costs 11,490BDT(around 140 U$D). This phone packs a 1.3ghz quad core with a Mali 400 GPU. This phone released on 7/8 April 2014, Beta kitkat is available for download, and walton has highly "Encouraged" Developers and User to test it.

But they did tease some screenshots from the official kitkat that is still yet to air. The UI is quite awesome but I just hope it doesn't eat up all the precious ram memory.

LG News: G3, Vu 4 and G Flex 2

LG G3

So LG Unveiled G3, Which is one of the most anticipated phone of the year. Well in case you know nothing about the G3, It is running a snapdragon 800 quad core 2.3ghz CPU with a support of 3GB ram. So what's so exciting about this phone? well its the big screen of 5.5" and its camera which records UHD videos @30fps. Well LG also added their new security code feature known as the LG Knock code there are about 88,000+ possible codes that can be set.

VU 4

Well some people disliked as this series phones have 4:3 display which is quite difficult for one hand use, but it hasn't stopped LG vu series yet, as LG has announced 27th may that VU 4 is currently under development and it will be available in the market at Q3 of this year. But they haven't shown any design or model of it. My guess is that it will probably look alike like the Vu 3.

G flex 2

LG's flexible phone GFlex was quite a awesome technology as you could bend the phone as you wanted without damaging the hardware inside the phone. But it was quite big (6" display) which many people find it ''normal'' as they want bigger screen. But the GFlex 2 probably might have a better hardware and flexible display as the the first GFlex used to get screen damages caused because of way too much of flexing. So my guess is that it might have a FHD or a UHD display probably a 6" or bit bigger than it. And this is going to be available in Q1 of 2015

So PS4 is 100$ cheaper than Xbox 0ne, But doesnt have some of the features like xbox one, on the other hand xbox one doesn't have some features like PS4.

The oldies getting a new life: Galaxy SIII and SIII mini

Well Samsung Inc. has announced 2 weeks ago that it won't make the kitkat 4.4.x available for the Galaxy SIII and SIII mini, Because of its ram, which is "just" 1GB in the words of samsung. So in case you own/use a samsung Galaxy SIII don't worry because the XDA developers and android hacking community are working on a custom one. But you'll have to void its warranty as you'll need to root the device.

But this XDA/AHC(Android hacking Community) developed kitkat has lots of bugs and instability, so if you want to take the risk for the sweet taste of kitkat A word of warning: DONT ROOT AND UPDATE IT YOURSELF IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO! But this Kitkat custom rom was too big for the internal storage, But the AHC removed the pre-loaded bloatware which consumed a lot of Internal storage, after it was removed it made up enough space for the Kitkat ROM to be installed.

Note: Kitkat is already Available for the Samsung Galaxy SIII LTE version (because it has 2GB ram) So don't confuse it with this SIII.

Walton Released kitkat Beta for Primo R3

Well recently Walton released Walton primo R3 which released on May 14th, And It is going to get a kitkat 4.4.2 update already, Walton has only released the Beta update for Users views about it and Walton is encouraging developers to use this beta update.
But The full and final version is still about to release, Maybe within the end of this month or by mid june. But I am actually Looking forward to it, as Walton has provided kitkat only in Walton Primo H3 and R3, which are just budget phones. Walton's Flagship phones like ZX and V1 hasn't still got any kitkat update.

So If you own a Primo H3 or R3 you should probably consider yourself lucky.


So should you upgrade to kitkat Full and final version when it releases? Well it is totally upto you, If you want to keep moving with the latest Google OS then you should probably update, and if you are okay with Jelly Bean 4.2.2 then keep using JB 4.2.2

Lava to release a mid-range kitkat Device

So India has been one of the asian countries that started to make budget but awesome phones, Recently Lava has announced a Iris X1, which will have the latest android OS kitkat 4.4.2.

 
Lava Iris X1 sports a 4.5inch IPS display and a resolution of 854x480pixels. It has a Broadcom Quad Core Chipset producing 1.2Ghz and 1 GB ram. It will have a 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, 2MP front facing camera, 4GB internal Memory and a memory card slot which can hold upto 32GB.The other info on the phone is that it will have a 802.11b/g/n wifi module, bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 3G, It will have two sim slots(3G+2G) and a 1800mAh battery to power the device.

It will be only sold exclusively on Amazon.in website starting from may 27th with a price tag of7,999 INR (130-140 USD).

Motorola probably plans bringing 64GB Moto X in Market

So recently a casing named Walnut has been removed from the Moto maker website, So recent leaks implies that they might be working on a 64GB version Moto X.

Well Motorola Moto X has been a huge hit in the market ever since it's release, It had 16/32GB variants with 1.7Ghz Dual core Krait CPU, Qualcomm MSM8960Pro Snapdragon, with a 1GB DDR3 ram which powered a 10MP camera which can record UHD(1080P) videos @30fps and a 4.7inch HD(720p) Display.

Well This phone was little expensive than the Samsung's galaxy S4 mini and yet people bought it for it design and Quality build.

The different type of modification for the phone was the reason behind the sales, Well I would have bought one of these if it was available in here.

Snapdragon 805: Has the Power to handle duo camera's

Qualcomm has been a major CPU maker for smartphones from past two years as android adoption has increased. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 will be having a pair of ISPs which will allow the cpu to capture 4K or Ultra HD vidoes and take 16MP @15fps burst shot pictures at the same moment. It can also handle to get input from both cameras at the same time without any problems. Snapdragon 805 will also have 3D noise reduction on videos, and chip's gyroscope allowing DIS(Digital Image Stabilization). 

The HTC One (M8) Duo Camera sensors send image and depth information to the Snapdragon 801 that powers that device. But the Snapdragon 805 is a different beast with the focus on image processing. Qualcomm Snapdragon silicon powers up the Lytro ILLUM light field camera, which not only means that we could see more Snapdragon powered cameras in the future, it also means that Qualcomm could make it easier to bring Lytro-styled focal changes to smartphones.

And Qualcomm is also hard at work on improving the audio capture on video. A directional microphone array was displayed by the chip producer, that shows how Qualcomm can focus the recording of sound to a specific area while other sounds are ignored.

More Rumors brewing: Nokia X2

Well recently Nokia X2 benchmark score was leaked but this the whole specification but unfortunately no quad core processor yet. It will be sporting a 4.3inch display with 480x800 pixels, with 1 GB ram and a dual core 1.2Ghz processor, Qualcomm MSM8210 Chipset and a Adreno 305 GPU.

It will also have a 5.0mp back camera with a 0.3mp front camera, which means it might have a 720p back camera recording and 480p front camera recording.

But I expected more internal storage like 8GB or a 16GB storage. But rooting should solve the problem.

There is no info currently on the release date but my own guess would be at Q3-Q4 of this year, or maybe Q1 of 2015.

It will be having a Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, I think they will put kitkat 4.4 at release.

iPhone 6 Leaked: Pictured and Measured

Well iPhone 6 maybe one of the most anticipated phone of this year, but recent leaks from iPhone-store.ro has showed us that the phone will measure about 137.5 x 67 x 7mm which, it will also be sporting a bigger and wider display of 4.7 inches with the resolution of 960x1704 pixels giving the phone a 416 dpi display. Well they have only provided the body dimensions, no info on the camera, user interface or OS screenshots. But the specs leaked out about a week ago.

 


But this iPhone is totally different than the older iPhones as it will waterproofed (No info on IP certificate yet). But the phone is kind'a more curvy because of the water proofing. Best part is that with waterproofing this phone is still 7mm thin.

 

The leak also says that it will be having a Green, Black and Gold color variants also.

The phone will also sport a Fingerprint scanner same as the iPhone 5s, but this is much better than 5s's one. As it will scan upto 500 Dpi, which will make the phone more secure.

The iPhone 6 was kept beside the iPhone 5s, which proves that it will be having a bigger screen.

According to my guess it will probably be having a 8-16mp camera or maybe more, with 4k/2k recording as the internal storage is going to be available upto 128GB, and 1080p and 720p will be having a better fps recording. But this is all a wild guess about the camera, so dont get your hopes up to fast on the camera.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Active specs Leaked!

Well S5 has released about 2 months ago, And has been a major hit in the market. It had alot of new features and something way special, A "waterproof casing" that is IP67 Certified. So leak has given out the info that it will sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 2.5 Ghz with 2GB ram.

The screen is confirmed to have 1080p resolution and unlike last year the Active and regular Galaxy S5 units will have identical cameras - 16MP at the back and 2MP at the front. The two have also managed to achieve virtually identical performance in the benchmark, but that was to be expected given the identical hardware.

Nokia X2 specs leaked!

Well the Nokia X was not so great, as 512mb ram bottlenecked the phone from most apps. But Nokia is making another come back, With X2, which is going to be released next year as far the a leak says.

LG G3 pricing possibly leaked by overseas retailers

One of the few things we don’t know about LG’s upcoming
G3 flagship is its pricing. Although that hasn’t yet been
made official by LG, a few listings from overseas retailers
aren’t leaving us too pleased at the moment.

Finnish retailer Kasuplan is stocking the cheapest G3 out of all
of the retailers mentioned in this specific report. Its 16GB gold
model is weighing in at 613 Euros, converting to about
840 US Dollars. Kasuplan also has the 32GB
white model for 659 Euros, which is around 900 US Dollars.

Joining in on the fun from the same country is Multitronic. Its pricing for the same
two models listed above, respectively, are 678 and 730 Euros. For America, that is $930
and $1001.

It’s definitely worth keeping in mind that overseas retailers aren’t generally spot on when
it comes to prerelease pricing. Things like a high VAT markup raise prices as well, so don’t
get too certain that you’ll have to pony up so much cash to purchase one of these phones.
Of course, carriers in the United States will more than likely offer subsidized devices for a
cheaper price, given that you sign a two-year contract.

As a refresher, the G3 is expected to pack top tier specs such as a 5.5″ QHD display,
Snapdragon 801 or 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, and a 16MP rear camera. It will be made
official on May 27.
